11/25/10 • Wednesday - performed at a Songwriter Showcase at Epicure Cafe, sponsored by Songwriters' Association of Washington. Today I used Facebook to share a youtube-video of "Coloring the Sky" (You can purchase that track from Kevin Mcleod's site.)

11/02/11 • Looks like the Nov 3 & 4 lunch-time gigs at Cox Farm Fall Festival will be cancelled. I have a bad case of laryngitis.
10/29/11 • I will be playing afternoon shows at Cox Farm Fall Festival (Centreville, VA) on November 3rd & 4th - the result of end-of-season changes due to weather, cancellations, rescheduling of school groups and performers. I'll have to review my "Old McDonald" repertoire.
10/02/11 • Family wedding this week and started working after having time off in the summer. Had to skip any playing, and I missed the Martha Capone Band at Cox Farm's Fall Festival. Should be at L.A. Bar&Grill's jam on Thursday.

08/19/10 • Wednesday, played at the jam Martha Capone runs at JV's in Falls Church. Thursday was the open-mic at L.A. Bar&Grill, this week run by Jamie Potter. • On Aug 28th 9am-1pm, I am "totally unplugged" at the Brambleton Farmers Market with Cindy McConnell.
07/25/11 • Still working on "Four", but took time out on Saturday to see Jamie Potter perform at the Red Horse Tavern in Middleburg.
07/16/11 • Over the last two weeks, have played almost nothing else but the Miles Davis tune "Four".
07/02/11 • Abandoning Myspace. Backing off from Facebook. Less time on the Internet. Going back to lessons & study this summer.
06/11/11 • Last night, played 45-min set as the featured performer at The Endless Cup Coffee House, Unitarian Universalist Church in Reston. Doug did a great job on sound. Tonight, will sit-in a little with Isabella at Epicure Cafe.

05/16/11 • Busy weekend: Performed in a trio (guitar/bass/percussion) at Epicure Cafe. Finished before 10pm and by 10:30 was sitting in L.A. Bar & Grill in Lower Arlington to see/hear Christopher Rall, Sol and Jim Gormley - who graciously invited me on stage for a few tunes. Then returned to Epicure Cafe on Sunday to see a comedy improv group from The Soundry - a shared studio space for artists and musicians in Vienna, VA.
04/30/11 • Isabella Perelman (singer/guitarist/songwriter) is playing at Epicure Cafe (Fairfax) tonight 8-11pm, and has asked me to sit in for a couple of tunes.
04/16/11 • Last week, subbed for Scott Dyer at Wine Styles (South Riding,VA) while he took a break from his regular gig there.
03/27/11 • MON: Acoustic open-mic at JV's Restaurant (Falls Church), TUE: Guitar teaching, THU: Guitar teaching and open-mic/jam at LA Bar & Grill (Arlington), FRI: Checked out Clifton Cafe's first jam (Clifton), SAT: Played a few tunes with friends performing at Wine Styles (South Riding) and then went to Boxwood Vineyard's wine tasting venue (Reston) to enjoy Jack Poster, John Crop & Jim Gormley. Busy week.
